I have learned over the past few months that Graduate School is nothing like gaining a Bachelor's degree. Over the course of July I did was eat, sleep, study, and preach on Sundays, it was probably the longest 23 days of my life, and I must say my first two course in the realm of education were absolutely amazing but beyond tiring. I am now working on three course this semester and it seems like everything has calmed down to certain extent but still very busy. People always told me about the transition from high-school to college, but I must say to all of those going into graduate it is the hardest transition I have ever made but my hope is that it will become the most rewarding venture. The ultimate goal is to become the president of Delta State but that still is farfetched to certain extent.
I have also realized that, the true way to stand tall is to follow the way of Christ, and to have Him to have God as it says in I John. But as I write this I grow very tired, and I am about to get some rest so I hope you enjoyed this post today, remember to keep your eyes on Him. But anyway I have to take a quiz tomorrow so have a great day.
Until then, peace be upon you,
Jep

New to this blogging thing
Well, I am new to this whole blogging thing but a few of my friends have blogs and I have really began to think about blogging here and there. It is great to write a small twitter post or facebook status, but at times it seems as though a person wants to dive deeper into the mind of the person writing. For all those who follow me twitter or are my friends on facebook, maybe this will give you a better insight to what is going in my mind.
To being with I do want to say is that if you are just reading blogs here and there I am 22 and a Christian. I am also a pastor of a small church in the Mississippi Delta, Ray Memorial Baptist Church, I often feel as though I am gloating when I talk about being a pastor because I love it so much. We are a small church but I sincerely love the members of my church and being around them every week. I am also a member of ministry group with three other guys who are like my brothers: DeAron Washington, Gabby Hays, and Brant Boldon, we call ourselves That Just Happened Ministries Inc. We make videos: some are funny while others make you think.
Finally the whole reason I am in the Delta is because of great university situated in the Mississippi Delta, known as Delta State University. It is truly an amazing place and unique university. As I tell everyone, I loved it so much during my bachelor's career that I am staying for Master's degree, and Lord willing my EDD or Educational Doctorate Degree. I am from the greater Jackson, Mississippi area but I feel a calling to be here in the Delta for a while. I have often heard that the Mississippi is a place where a person will either "Find find and sustain his or her faith, or lose it" and in my experience I believe this to be one of the truest things I have heard.
Having said all of this about my friends and brothers in Christ I feel like it is necessary for me thank Christ for his love that took Him to the cross to bear my sins, and was then resurrected on the third beating death and sin and fulfilling the Gospel that God had laid out from the beginning of time. I also want to thank the best parents in the world Doc and Phyllis Peavy yall are amazing and finally I want to thank Amber Marie Wright for her blogs, she kinda inspired me write these blogs, as well as my former youth pastor's blogs Cody Busby and his inspiring blogs wish he was back in Mississippi but we all knew he was a Midwestern guy anyway and God is definitely working in Mulvane, Kansas.
New blog sooner or later, until then peace be upon you.
